Using ARRA User Migrate, you can easily export users from a Joomla! 3.x site or from Joomla! 2.5 site.
Please pay attention to the “Additional Fields to Export” – and check the resulted file columns to not be corrupted. If by mistake you will use the same separator as the database use, like comma, some breaks can happen. The most safe and quick way to export user for a new import is to use Simple User Export feature, it will export only needed data for an user.
